“Poverty: What is it, and How Much is There?”

Dr. Keith Kilty

This is a participatory workshop on the different ways poverty is defined and counted. It will be the first of several workshops with Dr. Kilty  that are designed to give members of Columbus Housing Justice (and anyone else interested) a background on issues of urban poverty, inequality, white flight, and gentrification.

Keith Kilty is a professor emeritus of social work at Ohio State and co-counder of the Journal of Poverty.

    this is exciting to me. maybe i should come to ohio and squat…. are there folks who are interested? intrested in finding a house and getting wood stove not using much electricity practing primitive skills… activism.. not drinking.. vegan/roadkill diet.. working out riding bikes… not sexism not racism not hierarchy
